Become a Member

The Faculty Association welcomes all UCLA faculty as members. Since 2014, the Council of University of California Faculty Associations (CUCFA) has been in partnership with the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). You can join both organizations here: the UCLA Faculty Association (UCLA FA) is the local AAUP chapter. If you’re already a member of the FA, you can choose to add-on an AAUP membership. Make your selection below to proceed.

The monthly dues for the UCLA Faculty Association are $10 for Assistant Professors, $16.85 for Associate Professors, and $22.50 for Full Professors, and can be deducted from your paycheck. If you choose to join the AAUP also, the monthly dues for AAUP membership are $13.34 for Assistant Professors, $21.34 for Associate Professors, and $23.92 for Full Professors, and can also be deducted from your paycheck. For contingent (non-Senate) faculty, dues are $12 per quarter or $45 annually, paid by credit card. For emeritus faculty, dues are $45 annually, paid by credit card. Thank you!

Contingent Faculty

Join the Faculty Association on a monthly or yearly basis. Learn about joining the AAUP as a lecturer with continuing or precarious employment.

Senate faculty

Join the Faculty Association as a tenured or tenure-track faculty member. You may opt-in to join the AAUP on the same page.
